Flutist Peggy Doerrie has performed as principal flutist of the St. Cloud Symphony since 1990 and the Northern Symphony Orchestra since 2003. Peggy also performs with various ensembles, including Zorongo Flamenco. Peggy has a Master of Fine Arts in Flute Performance from the University of Minnesota. She teaches an extensive roster of student flutists.
Harpist Trudy Harper (formerly Trudy Broshears) is a popular freelance harpist in the Minneapolis and St. Paul MN area. She has performed with various community orchestras. Trudy, a composer and arranger, wrote Minnesota Memories, a living history program on music of Minnesota pioneers which she and flutist Peggy Doerrie performed. Trudy has also published two non-fiction books and numerous articles.
Windsong Duo recently recorded an inspirational CD for the Spiritual Joy Institute. Spiritual Joy is awareness of God’s love abiding in you. It draws you to gratitude and positive thought.
